On Saturday, March 9, 2013 in the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Evangelist, Victoria, B.C., the Very Reverend Shane B. Janzen, Dean and Provincial Commissary, was consecrated as a Bishop in the Church of God and enthroned and installed as the Metropolitan and Bishop Ordinary of the Anglican Catholic Church of Canada (Traditional Anglican Communion). The Consecrators were Bishop Craig Botterill, Bishop George Langberg, and Bishop Stephen Strawn. The Oath was adminstered to the Bishop-elect by the Honourable Mr. Justice Kenneth Affleck, Supreme Court of British Columbia.
